Today, urban life has limited the space for children to participate in city’s various spaces. Today’s children rarely have the opportunity to play, gain experience, learn in the city, and ultimately change their environment. Each person’s personality is formed in the first 7 years of his life, the process of child development in the early years of life is affected by many factors. Activity, as the main factor in a child’s growth and learning, is a process that in connection with the child’s space and environment, causes his all-round development. Spaces related to children’s activities should have suitable and favorable conditions for their physical, mental, emotional and social development. This is possible through the use of architectural design elements that are appropriate to the child’s physical and mental condition.
The studies of Qalamestan Children’s House have been studied according to the needs of children and according to the mission of the employer in providing cultural and social services suitable for children from 3 to 12 years old. In this project, in addition to reviewing all factors, traffic, proximity, climate, environmental issues, etc., many architectural ideas has been suggested for designing creative spaces for children to improve dynamism and vitality and learning at the same time by Arvin Tadbar Architect Consulting Engineers . Initial physical solutions, including physical programs and initial crushing, are also provided at the end.
