The refuge island of Sadjad Street, 400 meters long, was designed to organize the middle axis of this street. Due to the construction of Golestan-e-Shohada Assembly Hall in the southeastern part of Golestan Complex and the proximity of the hall to the main entrance and Sadjad Street, the lack of access to the pedestrian bridge and the location of high-speed bus stations in this area and the need to organize and systematize the median, a suitable plan for this axis was offered. The design, which uses traditional knots, makes a good connection between the history of Isfahan’s architecture and the refuge island design, and emphasizes the originality and identity.
