Due to attracting a large population for daily transportation, city train stations have a good potential to provide other related services for citizens and also to create multi-purpose complexes in cities. The Isfahan city train line was opened to public in 2017 after many years of hard work. This line, which starts from the northwest of Isfahan at Qods Town Station and continues to the south of Isfahan at the Defa’-e-Moghadas Station, can be effective in the formation of other urban uses. In this regard, Golestan and Baharestan metro stations in District 12 of Isfahan were studied and designed by Arvin Tadbar Architecture Consulting Engineers. These two stations with an substructure of over 200,000 square meters include residential, commercial, accommodation, office uses, catering, sports, culture and other services.
